About WordGame

WordGame is an unimaginatively named game where you score points by forming words out of tiles.

Game Basics

To form words out of tiles start by selecting a single tile and then selecting further tiles that touch that tile. Then the third tile must be touching the second tile and the fourth tile touching the third etc. You may only use a single tile once per turn. To submit a word click the "Submit" button. If you word is legal then points are awarded and the tiles that formed the word are removed from the board.

Each game is timed and lasts 5 minutes. At the end of the 5 minutes the game ends and your final score is made up of all the words you scored during that time.

Scoring

Points are awarded to you for every word and vary depending upon the number of letters in the word. The more letters that you have in a word the more points you will score.

There are additional bonus multiplier letters in the game. These tiles (gold coloured) will triple the amount of points awarded for a word. For example a 5 letter word with one bonus multiplier is worth 3375 points (1125 X 3) . Having more than one bonus letter in a word causes the score to be tripled for each multiplier you have. For example a 5 letter word with 3 bonus letters is worth 30,375 points (1125 X 3 X 3 X 3).
