Right way, wrong way
Posted : Thursday February 11th, 2010
I think when I am finished working on my current project I could write a whole book on tips and tricks for internationalization of websites.
But here's the most important lesson I've learned so far. The technical challenges are the very, very, very, very least of your hurdles. Really.
If there was one thing I wish I had done differently so far is that I wish I had been able to more clearly identify and emphasize the difficulties raised by these challenges and what the options are for overcoming them. With regards to the latter point it's a bit of a problem because I'm still not sure how to really overcome some of them, or at least which way is best. Tags

silky - Feb 19th 2010 8:13 AM I'm interested in this, as I'll be having the same problem in the medium to long term. Technically, most of it is solvable, I agree, but I will face issues in how to get the translations actually done (i.e. relying on friends or hiring, etc), with the obvious problem of how I can possibly check everything, being fairly obvious.
