Welcome to my new site and blog

I have been on the internet in various places rambling away on a variety of topics both technical and personal since 1997. After reading various contributions that I have made on a number of forums, mailing lists or just emails it has been suggested to me a number of times by a number of people that I should have a blog.

Following through on the assumption that such suggestions were compliments now I do have a blog and here it is.

This site is all about promoting the brand of "Max Stocker", which personally (and I admit there is a bias here) I think is a pretty good one. Thus this blog is an important part of this site.

What you can expect to find in this blog are entries of both technical and personal experiences nature. So if you're interested in reading a blog by someone who loves working with databases you are in the right place. On the off chance that you find that prospect less than thrilling (okay, okay probably a good chance of that) I have been told that my writing often has a certain humour quality to it and I would expect that to show up here.

So stick around, have a laugh or too and maybe learn something technical or just learn more about me over the days, weeks and months to come.
